"The work of the materials team is not just about
identifying problems and giving them names – it is about finding
solutions, sometimes having to develop them first. That’s where the
real fun lies."
An accomplished speaker, he is often called upon at company events
to give his own unique perspective on life in addition to more
learned technical presentations at national and international
events.
Over the last 15 years, his work at Mott MacDonald has attracted a
series of accolades and awards most notably the Royal Society
Industry Fellowship and Travel Award.
"Through the Royal Society Industry Fellowship, with the support
of both Mott MacDonald and Sheffield Hallam University, I have been
given the rare opportunity of keeping a foot firmly placed in both
the commercial and academic worlds."
